Introduction
Description
LA-3280 is an anti-graffiti and slip-enhancing additive for UV-curable surfaces.
It consists of an ultra-high molecular weight polysiloxane containing reactive acrylic groups.
Application
LA-3280 contains reactive acrylic functional groups, making it suitable for radiation-curing systems. It can crosslink into the polymer network, allowing it to be permanently anchored to the surface of a coating film.
It offers excellent leveling, surface slip, and tape-release properties. It is suitable for solvent-free UV-curable systems, solvent-based UV coatings, and other acrylic resin systems.
LA-3280 is particularly well-suited for reverse-application overprint varnishes (OPVs) and is frequently used to provide anti-blocking and anti-graffiti properties.
